Install DuoFrame from Google Play. Sign in with Google, or sign up with your email and verify the code sent to your inbox.
Invite your people
Invite a friend by email or share your invite link. Once the invitation is accepted, you can send photos to each other. Start with your partner, a best friend, or your family.
Send a little moment
Take a photo, add an optional caption, and choose who receives it. Send to one person or several friends. Each snap expires 24 hours after it is sent.
Bring them to your home screen
Add the DuoFrame photo widget to your Android home screen. Incoming photos can appear there, and notifications let you know when a new snap arrives.

What is DuoFrame?
DuoFrame is a photo-sharing app with a home screen widget for your close friends, partner, and family. You choose who receives each snap. There is no public feed or follower count.
Is DuoFrame a Snapchat alternative?
It can be, if you want disappearing photos for a small invite-only circle. DuoFrame keeps 24-hour snaps and skips Stories, Discover, public search, and location features. It is not a full Snapchat replacement.
Is DuoFrame like Locket?
Both put a friend’s photo on your home screen. DuoFrame snaps expire after 24 hours and are sent to people you choose. Locket is a separate product with its own history and friend limits.
Can I send a photo to more than one friend?
Yes. Select one or several friends before sending. Each chosen friend receives the photo; it is not posted to a public audience.
How long do photos last?
Snaps expire 24 hours after they are sent. Expired snaps are removed from the active inbox, and scheduled cleanup removes their stored files when they are no longer referenced. Expiry does not prevent screenshots or copies made by a recipient.
How do I add the photo widget?
On Android, touch and hold an empty home screen area, choose Widgets, find DuoFrame, and add the widget. Menu names vary by phone and launcher. The setup guide below has more details.
Can I react to a snap?
Yes. You can leave an emoji reaction on a received snap, change it, or remove it.
Can I control notifications?
Yes. You can manage snap, reaction, and friend notification preferences in your profile, and mute individual friends. Device notification settings also affect whether alerts appear.
Where can I download DuoFrame?
DuoFrame is available on Google Play for Android. This website links to the current Android listing.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. You can delete your account from the app. Account deletion removes your account data, snaps, and avatar. Read the privacy policy for details about the data used by the service.
